My journey to birth began with my own daughter’s birth back in 2015. I found myself with an unplanned pregnancy and a decision that could change my whole world. Making the choice to keep (and raise) my daughter when I was six months pregnant sent me down a rabbit hole of birth options, through the trials of postpartum, and ultimately led me to a role I am incredibly passionate about-the role of a doula. I completed my SBD Birth & Bereavment certification in 2016, and completed additional postpartum training through DONA International the following month. There is nothing I love more than supporting women and families through the process and outcomes of birth, in any trimester.
